Lancaster Comedy Club – April 22nd
Featuring: George Egg, Pete Phillipson, Ben van der Velde, MC Hayley Ellis
A little sneak preview of a George Egg show:
Wildly brandishing the worlds’ second largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props, George Egg bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see.
“Brilliantly funny” the Observer “Genuinely unique” The Independent “Hugely entertaining” The Guardian
Pete Phillipson commands an audience as well as a variety of accents, wearing his comedy heart on his sleeve and leaving the audience in hysterics at his misfortunes and frustrations with the minutiae of everyday life.
Ben Van der Velde has performed a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council
“Turns lazy stereotypes and political messes into biting, personal, satire.” ★★★★ Ed Fringe Review
