The Borough Boat

We like to do things a little differently here at The Borough, so if you are just visiting the area why not treat yourself to a float on our boat!

Moored a little more than half an hour away it is available to charter for anything form a half day to a full day or a Romantic Champagne Cruise- perfect as part of a wedding weekend!

There are many things to do and see around the picturesque setting of Lake Windermere.
Here are a few ideas to help you plan your trip:

· Why not go on dry land for a delicious picnic basket supplied by the Borough
· Relax onboard and enjoy some of the most stunning scenery that England has to offer
· Wander round Bowness and browse the  local shops for some souvenirs many of them made in the local area
· Visit one of the many popular tourist attractions or National Trust Properties
